Olivia The Band Rides the Big Wave with New Album
Where We're From, It Never Snows Drops January 8, 2008

Olivia The Band Up At Nite Records presents the second full-length album by punk rockers, Olivia The Band. The eternal boys of summer bust through the winter cold with Where We're From, It Never Snows, releasing January 8, 2008.

It's the long-awaited follow-up to their smashing 2005 self-titled debut. Since then, Olivia The Band has toured all across America and overseas, including Australia and Japan. After years on the road, the band returned to the studio to make more of their signature brand of beach party rock with an edge.

"This time around, we just want to get back to having fun playing music and not getting caught up in all the craziness that exists in the music industry," guitarist Justin Abilla says. "It's all about loving on the kids."

Buzz is already building over the album's first single to impact radio, "Something Greater."

"I think the new project is amazing," says Aaron Diello, Up At Nite Records co-founder. "It's so fun to listen to. It's been stuck in my car CD player for the past two months straight. It's a great driving companion!"

Olivia the Band hails from the North Shore of Hawaii. With 90 concerts in 2006 alone, the group has shared the stage with the likes of Dashboard Confessional, tobyMac, P.O.D., and more. Their debut album garnered three hits on the Christian Rock charts: "Shut It Out", "Stars and Stripes", and "Butterflies".

Up At Nite Records is the new rock imprint of Syntax Records. The Sacremento-based label, started by the creators of JoshuaFest and Cornerstone California , represents the best in energetic and innovative indie rock.
